SUGGEST A SONG
Have an idea for a song? Leave a comment with the song title, artist, and brief description of how the song will fit into an Epic service.
Please keep in mind that secular “opening” type songs should be well-known, free from profanity, and relatively easy to play. Offering songs should have deeper meaning with an element of life-application that will help drive the point of the message.
Remember that not all songs will get used – it’s not about our preferences as musicians, but rather what will have the most impact and help draw people closer to the awesome God we serve!

Thinking about raising the bar… How about that time we did the 360 degree stage? Maybe we do something crazy like turn the entire cafetorium 90 degrees and make the stage shallow but really wide against the back wall? (temporary of course just to make things new-ish)

How about “You Are So Good to Me” (You are Beautiful my Sweet Sweet Song)??? I know its an oldie but…
How about a throwback song every Sunday? Awesome God, Lord I Lift Your Name on High, My Chains are Gone, The Air I Breathe.. As we are attracying new people, they may not know the newer songs and may feel left out. Just a thought.

Only if Jamie can wear that elf outfit.
One of these days, foo fighters.
I would love to sing “Falling Slowly” as a duet someday. It is from the movie “Once”
The Luckiest by Ben Folds – for the Making Love Last series.
The Story by Brandi Carlile. I heard it on Grey’s last night & the line “And all of my friends who think that I’m blessed; They don’t know my head is a mess” really stood out to me as something that could relate to this series.
